Ổi là cây thân gỗ, sống dai, không kén đất được trồng phổ biến trên khắp cả nước.Không những mang lại giá trị kinh tế mà hiện nay giống quả này còn được rất nhiều người mến mộ. Để phổ biến cây trồng này chúng tôi hướng dẫn bà con kỹ thuật trồng ổi để ổi đạt được chất lượng tốt nhất.

1. Giống:
Hiện nay trong nước ta có rất nhiều giống ổi như: ổi xá lị, ổi mỡ, ổi Bo, ổi đào; dạo gần đây xuất hiện một số giống mới không hạt như: ổi Phugi, ổi không hạt MT, ổi không hạt Đài Loan …

2. Thời vụ:
Tại miền Bắc nước ta ổi được trồng chủ yếu vào vụ xuân hè (tháng 3 – tháng 5) và vụ hè thu (tháng 8 – tháng 10); ở miền Nam thì được trồng vào đầu mùa mưa (tháng 5- tháng 6).

3. Chuẩn bị đất và hố trồng:
– Đất trồng: Phải tơi xốp, có khả năng giữ ẩm tốt, thoáng mát, tầng canh tác dày trên 50 cm; đặc biệt: đất phù sa rất tốt cho cây ổi phát triển cho năng suất cao, quả ngon.
– Đào hố: Chú ý đào hố và bón lót trước khi trồng 3-4 tuần; yêu cầu hố có kích thước 50 x 50 x 50 cm (dài x rộng x sâu); mật độ trồng hàng cách hàng ước lượng từ 2,5m-3,0m; cây cách cây từ 2,5m – 3,0m tương đương 1.400 – 1.500 cây/ha.

4. Trồng cây:
– Trước khi trồng ta cần tỉa bỏ hết các mầm dại ở quanh gốc (nếu có).
– Tháo, bỏ các vật liệu xung quanh bầu cây; đặt cây vào giữa hố, lấp đất ngập gốc ghép 5-10 cm; cắm cọc buộc giữ câygiúp cây khỏi bị gió rung, tưới ẩm ngay khi trồng cho cây.

5. Chăm sóc:
– Tạo tán: Cần thường xuyên cắt tỉa để bỏ mầm dại từ gốc ghép; khi cành ghép dài 40-50 cm bấm ngọn để cây có thể cho ra các cành cấp 2 và tiếp tục như thế cho đến khi cây ra cành cấp 3; mỗi cây để 8-10 cành ra chia đều các phía cho tán đẹp.
– Tưới nước: Cần chú ý phải luôn đảm bảo độ ẩm cho cây ổi, khi gặp mưa lớn phải tháo hết nước ngay.
– Để quả: Chùm hoa sau khi ra quả chỉ để lại 1 quả/chùm.

6. Bón phân:
– Bón lót: Mỗi hố bón từ 4 kg phân chuồng hoại mục + 1 kg phân hữu cơ sinh học HVP 401B + 100g vi lượng HVP Oganic + 0,5-1,0 kg lân super + 100g đạm urea + 100g kali + 0,5 kg vôi, đảo đều với đất bột (khoảng 2/3 độ sâu hố) đặt cây, sau đó cho đất bột lên trên dày từ 10-15 cm.
– Bón thúc: Sau trồng một tháng, bón từ 0,1 – 0,2 kg NPK (16 – 16 -8)/cây; sau đó mỗi tháng bón từ 0,2-0,3 kg/cây. Khi cây mang trái bón NPK (20 – 20 – 15) bón mỗi tháng 0,2kg – 0,3kg đến khi quả bắt đầu chín.
– Sử dụng phân bón lá: Sau khi trồng khoảng 10 ngày có thể sử dụng HVP 6-4-4 K-HUMAT phun và tưới gốc 2 lần mỗi lần cách nhau 7 -10 ngày giúp cây phục hồi nhanh sau khi trồng. Sau đó phun HVP 1001.S (16-16-8) để dưỡng lá và làm cây ra nhiều nhánh. Sau trồng khoảng 6 – 12 tháng tùy giống (lúc bấm ngọn để kích thích cây ra hoa) phun HVP 1601 (10 – 50 – 10) 2 lần mỗi lần cánh nhau 7 – 10 ngày.
+ Thời kỳ ra nụ chuẩn bị nở hoa dùng HVP TĐT – SIÊU RA HOA TĂNG ĐẬU TRÁI
+ Thời kỳ mang trái để hạn chế rụng trái dùng HVP SIÊU CANXI SIÊU BO, sau đó dùng HVP 1001.S (6 – 20 – 20) phun 2 lần cách nhau 10 ngày để tăng trọng lượng trái.
+ Trước khi thu hoạch 20 ngày: Phun HVP 1001.S (0 – 25 – 25) giúp tăng chất lượng trái thu hoạch.

7. Phòng trừ sâu bệnh:
Chú ý không được tưới nước đã bị ô nhiễm, phân tươi cho cây để chống lại các bệnh gây đến chết cây; khi xuất hiện bọ nẹt, rệp, sâu ăn lá, dòi đục quả thì cần phun Sherpa 0,2-0,3%, Trebon 0,2%, hoặc bẫy bả sinh học như Vizubon,…; phòng bệnh sương mai,đốm quả thì phun Ridomil 0,2%, Anvil 0,2%; có thể phòng bệnh hại và làm cho màu sắc quả đẹp bằng cách bao quả bằng túi polyetylen hoặc các vật liệu tương tự khác.

8. Thu hoạch:
Khi quả ổi to đẫy, màu xanh chuyển sang sáng thì thu hoạch. Trước khi thu 15-20 ngày không nên phun thuốc bảo vệ thực vật. Chú ý nên thu hoạch vào buổi sáng.
