Mặc dù bán ra thị trường với giá khá cao nhưng sản phẩm cà chua được trồng bằng sữa, trứng gà và mật mía của chị Thủy (Lâm Đồng) luôn cháy hàng.

Là người đam mê làm vườn nên trong một lần tình cờ được người bạn ở Nhật giới thiệu phương pháp trồng trái cây từ phân bón làm bằng trứng, sữa nên chị Phạm Thị Xuân Thủy ở thôn K’Long C (Hiệp An, Đức Trọng, Lâm Đồng) khá hào hứng và quyết định mang hạt giống và phương pháp này về áp dụng tại quê hương của mình.

“Khi biết được mô hình này tôi khá thích thú và nghĩ rằng người Nhật làm được thì mình sẽ làm được. Thế nên, đầu năm 2015 tôi bắt đầu thử nghiệm trồng cà trái cây trên diện tích 1.000m2 với chi phí đầu tư ban đầu khoảng 150 – 200 triệu đồng”, chị Thủy nói.

Những trái cà chua căng mọng khi ăn có mùi thơm trứng sữa.

 

Chị kể, ban đầu để giống cà phát triển phù hợp với thời tiết tại Việt Nam, chị phải trồng giống cà thường trước sau đó ghép cây giống cà chua Nhật. Để tránh sự xâm nhập của sâu bệnh, toàn bộ cây cà chua trên được chị Thủy trồng trong nhà kính khung sắt không rỉ sét. Ngoài ra, trang trại còn được lắp đặt hệ thống tưới nước tự động nhỏ giọt có chức năng di chuyển phân bón đến các cây nhằm tạo độ đồng đều cao.

Cứ nghĩ với sự chuẩn bị kỹ càng thì mọi việc sẽ suôn sẻ, tuy nhiên, 5 tháng đầu thử nghiệm, giống cà của chị Thủy chưa thể hấp thụ được phân bón làm từ sữa, trứng và mật mía nên năng suất và chất lượng không đạt kỳ vọng. Sang đến tháng thứ 6, chị bắt đầu điều chỉnh công thức pha trộn phân bón và liều lượng tưới cho cây thì kết quả đã thay đổi, mỗi gốc cà chua cho thu hoạch 8-10kg, cứ 50-60 ngày là cây bắt đầu cho trái.

“Khí hậu ở Việt Nam và Nhật không giống nhau, nhất là nơi có địa hình đặc thù như tỉnh Lâm Đồng nên khi học được công thức, tôi phải nhiều lần thử nghiệm rồi mới đưa ra công thức riêng, phù hợp với điều kiện sinh trưởng của từng loại cây trên đất canh tác. Ngoài ra, tôi phải kết hợp hệ thống tưới nhỏ giọt với giá thể trồng, môi trường nhà kính tốt nên cây mới có sức đề kháng tốt, chống lại được các bệnh như heo xanh, trắng phấn, bã trầu…”, chị Thủy chia sẻ.

Nhờ hòa trộn phân bón đúng liều lượng kết hợp với hình thức tưới nhỏ giọt nên sản phẩm làm ra có độ đồng đều cao.

 

Từ quá trình thử nghiệm thành công và đúc kết được nhiều bài học, chị Thủy tiếp tục mở rộng lên 6.000m2 với 4.000 gốc cà. Hiện, mỗi tháng, chị cung ứng ra thị trường gần 1 tấn cà chua. Nếu bán lẻ thì sản phẩm này có giá 100.000 đồng, còn bán sỉ tại vườn từ 60.000 – 70.000 đồng một kg. Mặc dù có giá khá cao, thậm chí gấp gần 10 lần so với loại cà chua thông thường, nhưng theo chị Thủy, loại cà trái cây tại vườn chị lúc nào cũng cháy hàng.

“Ban đầu sản phẩm chỉ có ít người dùng thử nhưng khi ăn rồi thì khách hàng mê luôn nên giới thiệu nhau. Vì vậy, ngoài bán tại phiên chợ xanh một tháng 2 lần tại quận 3 thì khách đặt hàng qua online cung không đủ cầu”, chị Thủy cho biết.

Chia sẻ về nguyên nhân khiến giá thành sản phẩm cao, chị Thủy cho rằng, chi phí đầu tư cũng như phân bón cho sản phẩm này lớn. Đặc biệt, hạt giống và phân bón là hai hạng mục chiếm đa số chi phí.

Để cho ra sản phẩm có màu sắc đẹp, trái mọng, có mùi thơm của trứng sữa chị Thủy phải dùng các nguyên liệu như sữa bò, sữa đậu nành, mật mía… Tất cả các nguyên liệu này sẽ được chị pha chế theo một kỹ thuật riêng. Cụ thể, sữa bò và sữa đậu nành được trộn với trứng gà, mật mía, rồi ủ cho lên men, sau đó hòa với nước theo cách tưới nhỏ giọt bằng hệ thống tưới tự động cho cây từ khi nhỏ đến khi trưởng thành. Thời gian đầu khi cây chưa ra trái, một ngày chị tưới 8 lần, mỗi gốc cà sẽ được tiếp nhận 200ml phân hỗn hợp. Sắp đến ngày thu hoạch, hệ thống tự động tưới cho cây 10 lần một ngày. Chi phí cho một lít phân là 50.000 đồng.

Nhờ bón loại phân “lạ” nên chất lượng của sản phẩm cũng khác hơn nhiều so với sản phẩm thông thường. Cà trái cây có vị ngọt chứ không chua như cà thường, khi ăn có  mùi thơm trứng sữa và không tanh. Loại sản phẩm này cũng được coi như là trái cây tráng miệng sau mỗi bữa ăn.

Sắp tới, để đáp ứng nhu cầu thị trường, chị Thủy sẽ nhân rộng giống và tăng diện tích lên 1,2 – 2 ha. Ngoài ra, chị Thủy cũng đang thử nghiệm một số loại rau sử dụng phương pháp trồng đặc biệt trên.
