Đồng Nai sôi sục phát triển ca cao

Chỉ trong nửa đầu tháng 8, nhiều dự án, chương trình hợp tác giữa các doanh nghiệp và nông dân trồng ca cao tại tỉnh Đồng Nai đã được ký kết, mở ra hướng phát triển lâu dài cho loại cây trồng này.
Ca cao cũng là một trong những sản phẩm nông nghiệp được Sở NNPTNT tỉnh Đồng Nai khuyến khích trồng xen trong các vườn cây công nghiệp khác những năm gần đây.

Toàn tỉnh Đồng Nai hiện có hơn 532ha ca cao, trong đó 365ha đã cho thu hoạch, sản lượng ca cao tươi ước đạt xấp xỉ 1.200 tấn. Do giá ca cao đang ngày càng tăng nên nhiều nông dân tích cực đầu tư trồng xen canh cũng như đầu tư thâm canh ca cao.

Đầu tháng 8.2016, Công ty TNHH Ca cao Trọng Đức – một doanh nghiệp có tiếng tăm trong ngành ca cao ở tỉnh Đồng Nai, đã ký hợp tác với Công ty TNHH Thương phẩm Atlantic Việt Nam (ACOM) mở Trung tâm Phát triển ca cao Đồng Nai (CDC), đặt tại huyện Định Quán với tổng kinh phí hoạt động trong 3 năm đầu ước khoảng 160.000USD.
Theo ông Nguyễn Tuấn Vượng – Trưởng điều hành ca cao của ACOM,  việc thành lập CDC nhằm xây dựng một trung tâm cung cấp những kiến thức chuẩn về quy trình trồng. Qua đó, giúp nông dân tăng năng suất; tăng chất lượng ca cao, từng bước đảm bảo sản phẩm đạt chuẩn xuất khẩu. CDC cũng đặt mục tiêu xây dựng đội ngũ kỹ thuật viên nòng cốt tại địa phương, xây dựng vườn mẫu ca cao năng suất cao và mở rộng diện tích.
Tiếp đó, ngày 4.8, Công ty CP Bamboo Capital (BCG) đã có buổi gặp gỡ với nông dân tham gia dự án cánh đồng lớn, liên kết sản xuất gắn với tiêu thụ ca cao do doanh nghiệp này làm chủ đầu tư.
Ban đầu, dự án sẽ triển khai liên kết với nông dân phát triển 1.000ha ca cao trồng xen canh trong vườn điều tại 3 xã An Viễn, Đông Hòa và Sông Trầu (thuộc huyện Trảng Bom). Dự án nhằm xây dựng chuỗi liên kết sản xuất và tiêu thụ với quy mô, diện tích lớn, tạo ra sản lượng lớn, chất lượng đồng đều để tăng sức cạnh tranh và phát triển bền vững cho cây ca cao tại tỉnh Đồng Nai. Tham gia chuỗi liên kết này, nông dân sẽ được doanh nghiệp ký hợp đồng bao tiêu sản phẩm với giá ổn định, được hỗ trợ một phần giống, phân bón, hỗ trợ vay vốn ưu đãi, hỗ trợ về kỹ thuật trồng, chăm sóc, kỹ thuật sau thu hoạch…
Cùng với việc gặp gỡ nông dân, BCG cũng đã ký bản ghi nhớ hợp tác với các đơn vị tham gia chuỗi liên kết, gồm: Công ty TNHH Ca cao Trọng Đức (huyện Định Quán), Hợp tác xã Dịch vụ An Viễn (huyện Trảng Bom) và Tổng Công ty cổ phần Sông Gianh chi nhánh Đồng Nai.
 
Chất lượng quyết định “số phận”
Theo Sở NNPTNT tỉnh Đồng Nai, dù sản lượng ca cao xuất khẩu còn khá khiêm tốn nhưng chất lượng ca cao Việt Nam luôn được đánh giá cao. Theo đó, ca cao có xuất xứ từ Việt Nam được các công ty thu mua đánh giá cao so với các nước trong khu vực châu Á do được lên men đúng quy trình, rất thích hợp để chế biến thành sôcôla nguyên chất. Đây là điểm mạnh để địa phương tiếp tục phát triển loại cây trồng này trong thời gian tới.
Tuy vậy, để cây ca cao không phát triển theo kiểu “đầu voi đuôi chuột”, ngành nông nghiệp Đồng Nai có nhiều chính sách hỗ trợ. Để giải quyết các vấn đề về sản xuất, tiêu thụ, nâng cao chất lượng sản phẩm, giữa năm 2015, UBND tỉnh Đồng Nai phê duyệt Dự án cánh đồng lớn hợp tác, liên kết sản xuất gắn với tiêu thụ ca cao tại huyện Tân Phú, Định Quán, Thống Nhất của Công ty TNHH Ca cao Trọng Đức. Sau hơn 1 năm thực hiện, dự án được đánh giá như một bước đột phá khi diện tích ca cao tại các tỉnh này được mở rộng.
Hay như mới đây, hồi tháng 4.2016, Sở NNPTNT Đồng Nai cũng đã chấp thuận chủ trương cho Công ty TNHH Nguyên Lộc ADICO (xã Hàng Gòn, thị xã Long Khánh) về xây dựng Dự án cánh đồng lớn liên kết sản xuất gắn với tiêu thụ sản phẩm ca cao với diện tích 200ha. Là một trong những người gắn bó với cây ca cao hơn 15 năm nay, ông Nguyễn Văn Lộc – Giám đốc Công ty Nguyên Lộc ADICO, cho biết, dù sản phẩm ca cao Đồng Nai phần lớn đang phải bán qua các trung gian để xuất khẩu ra nước ngoài, nhưng chất lượng sản phẩm luôn được đánh giá cao.
Theo ông Lộc, chất lượng ca cao cũng là tiêu chí “sống còn” của doanh nghiệp cũng như đảm bảo việc sản xuất của nông dân. Do đó, Nguyễn Lộc ADICO đã  công bố chất lượng sản phẩm, đồng thời, đồng tư xây dựng thương hiệu cho ca cao Long Khánh, là nơi ông đang có chương trình hợp tác với nông dân.
