Lan rừng đẹp và có sức quyến rũ khó cưỡng lại với hầu hết với người yêu Lan, nhưng không phải ai cũng biết cách chọn cho mình được nhánh hay cụm Lan rừng như ý bởi món này kén người chơi, đòi hỏi phải có tính kiên nhẫn và có kiến thức thực sự.

Bài viết này mình thấy khá hay và đầy đủ nên lấy về cho anh em xem để tích lũy thêm kinh nghiệm khi chọn mua lan rừng.

Chia sẽ cùng các bạn một số kinh nghiệm và 1 số thông tin về các cách lựa chọn lan rừng để mua không bị hố hàng.

Bí quyết 1 – Thường thì các bạn nên chọn 1 bụi, không nên chọn nhiều nhánh lẻ rất dễ chết.

Bí quyết 2 – Cái nữa là nên chọn bụi có nhiều giả hành non (nhiều hướng), nhiều người không để ý chọn bụi to nhưng toàn những cây già, những nhánh này đã ra hoa rồi chỉ còn tác dụng là trữ nước thôi.

Bí quyết 3 – Không cần lựa bụi nhiều rễ quá, về cũng phải cắt đi, do rễ này là rễ cũ ngoài tác dụng dễ ghép vào cây thì hầu như chẳng có ích gì nhiều.

Bí quyết 4 – Cuối cùng cũng như mọi lần là chúng ta nên biết ít nhiều về loại lan mình mua, và nếu có thể nên mua chỗ có uy tín, nếu không rất dễ bị “thuốc”.

Kinh nghiệm 1. Đối với 1 số loài như phi điệp, ý thảo, long tu, u lồi, ngọc thạch, phật bà, xoắn… nói chung là các loại lan thân dài, rễ nhỏ, mọc chùm: cần chú ý kỹ mắt ngủ ở gốc, không bị đen hay thúi, hư hoặc khô. vì mua về coi như vứt!
Rễ và lá ko cần chú ý kỹ lắm, nếu lá bị dập, rễ quá khô cũng không ảnh hưởng nhiều đến việc sống chết của lan. nhưng làm tăng thêm kg => tốn tiền.
Thân cây phải không bị dập hoặc gãy quá nhiều.
Kinh nghiệm 2. Đối với các loài đơn thân rễ to như Ngọc Điểm, Cáo, Chồn, Hải yến, Hòa Hoàng…: 
Phải chú ý thật kỹ lá non nhất, xem có bị đốm đỏ, ủng thối hay khô đen hay không? vì nếu bị như vậy thì cây chỉ có chết ko sống được!
Chú ý thứ 2 là vào phần thân gốc(giáp ranh giữa cuống lá cuối cùng và gốc già khô) xem nó có bị gãy, dập hay không? vì nếu có thì cũng vứt!

Thứ 3, khi cầm thân cây lên tay, dùng 2 ngón tay xoay nhẹ như vê điếu thuốc lá, nếu cây tốt thì không có hiện tượng lá và thân lắc lư rời rạc! còn nếu có thì đừng mua, chết chắc đó!

Kinh nghiệm 3. Đối với các loài như kontum, sừng, vạch đỏ, trinh bạch, ngọc trúc…:
Chú ý thật kỹ vào gốc và rễ, xem thử có bị đen, xỉn vàng, đốm đen hay ko? nếu có thì cây ko bao giờ ra keiki, từ từ cũng sẽ chết.
Thứ 2 chú ý vào thân, bóp nhẹ vào thân đang bị úa màu hoặc có dấu hiệu chuyển màu hơi đỏ, nếu bóp thấy mềm => cây đã tiêu rồi.
Thứ 3 khi lựa mua lan thuộc nhóm này, cũng nên mua cụm nhiều, đừng mua cây rời rạc 2 3 nhánh!
Thứ 4 lá phải xanh, ko có dấu hiệu đen hoặc vàng.
Kinh nghiệm 4. Đối với các loại đại bạch hạc, bạch hỏa hoàng (bellatulum), kim điệp thơm, kim điệp thường, đơn cam… các loại lan thân nhỏ, rễ chùm, mọc theo chùm: đây là các loại lan cực kỳ khó trồng.
Nên mua mảng lớn, không mua mảng rời rạc.
Thân phải còn tươi, không khô héo hoặc dập.
Mua khi cây còn lá, lá cũng phải nhìn tươi tốt, không có dấu hiệu rách hoặc dập.

Bộ rễ phải còn nhiều, không bị cắt hoặc đứt dập.

Kinh nghiệm 5. Đối với các loại thủy tiên: đây là loài Bình yêu thích nhất vì cây rất khỏe, dễ sống, hoa đẹp và thơm!
Khi mua thì chỉ cần chú ý mắt ngủ thôi! Nếu các mắt ngủ tốt thì lấy ngay. 1 số người cẩn thận còn xem thân cây có mập tròn hay ko nữa mới lấy! Bộ rễ phải không bị gập.
Kinh nghiệm 6. Địa lan và lan hài: loại này cũng dễ trồng
Chú ý kỹ xem củ giả có bị dập hay không? Gốc có bị dập không?
còn mấy vấn đề còn lại chủ yếu ở lá non có bị úa hay úng không thôi!
Kinh nghiệm 7. Lan lọng, tục đoạn, thanh đạm: nói chung là rất rễ trồng
Chú ý mua nhánh có nhiều giả hành là tốt nhất.
Kinh nghiệm 8. các loại như vẩy rồng, vẩy rắn, trứng bướm…: các loại lan sống bám, thân sát vào gỗ.
Chú ý các củ giả không bị dập, mua mảng lớn càng tốt.
Trứng bướm thì chú ý lá và thân không dập là được! nhưng muốn kiếm loại này hơi khó!
Kinh nghiệm 9. Các loại thân mảnh như trúc mai, trúc mành…:
Chú ý thân có bị khô hay ko? có bị gãy gập hay không?
Các đốt thân có bị téc hay trầy không? vì keiki mọc ra đây!
Có rời rạc hay ko? vì nên mua theo chùm, rời rạc quá rất khó chăm sóc trong Sài Gòn.
